In January-April Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works produced 3.017 million tons of sinter, up by 17.8% YoY.
In April sinter output totaled 850 thousand tons, up from 827 thousand tons in March.
According to the company CEO Yuri Zinchenko, daily the sintering factory produces 33 thousand tons.
“On May 10 the repairs of the sintering machine No. 7 began. They will be over in 30 days”, he added.
Total investments into the sinter factory gas-purifying system reconstruction will reach $220 million, with 45.2 million UAH spent on sintering machine No. 7. (Ukrainian metal)
