In January-April the republic of Buryatia mined 1177.5 thousand tons of coal, up by 50.8% YoY.
According to the regional ministry of natural resources, the increase was the result of the coalmining start at Nikolskoye deposits of Tugnuysky open-pit in June 2016. (Ukrainian metal)
