DTEK intends to import up to 100 thousand tons of coal from its mines in Russia each month.
“In the first place the coal will be supplied to Lugansk Thermal Power Plant, but also to Kriviy Rih TPP”, the company CEO Maxim Timchenko said.
At the same time DTEK does not plan to import coal from Poland.
In 2016 DTEK imported 79 thousand tons of anthracite coal, down 5.1-fold YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
