The new EKG-18 excavator has started operating at the Neryugrinsky open-pit mine of Yakutugol, a part of Mechel.
This is the second machine that has started operating there since the beginning of the year.
The excavator has been purchased for 600 million rubles within the modernization program.
The ladle volume is 18 cubic meters. The machine has been produced at the Ural Machine-Building Works (Uralmashzavod). (Ukrainian metal)
