Magnesit Group has begun an active stage of a major investment project realization – the construction of the fused magnesia manufacture.
The company has signed an agreement with Sinosteel, China.
The construction at the Satka manufacturing site of the group in Chelyabinsk region will commence in autumn. The company will build a plant with the capacity of 50 thousand tons of fused magnesia a year.
When the plant is put into operation Magnesit will be able to stop importing raw materials and increase its share on the refractory market. The plant will also create 100 jobs. (Ukrainian metal)
