Rosneft has chosen the winners of its pipe purchase tender started in December 2016. The initial price of 180 billion rubles dropped by 31.3%, to 123.9 billion rubles.
TMK and Gazpromtrubinvest won the largest lots. The pipes will be supplied for the development of deposits.
In late April Rosneft announced another tender for the purchase in 2020-2022 at 238.9 billion rubles.
In the next 5 years Rosneft plans to spend 360 billion rubles on pipe purchases.
These will be the first long-term contracts of Rosneft. Previously the company only concluded yearlong contracts. In the last three years Rosneft purchases did not exceed 40 billion rubles on each tender. (Ukrainian metal)
