From June 1 Severstal will implement the sole management of Karelsky Okatysh and Olkon to increase efficiency of ore mining and quality issues in ore segment.
The company will create a separate division in Olenegorsk reporting to Severstal Management subsidiary in Kostomuksha.
Maxim Vorobyev, who headed Karelsky Okatysh, will become CEO of Karelsky Okatysh and Olkon, as well as director of Severstal Management subsidiary in Kostomuksha. At the same time the works will be managed by his deputies – acting directors. Olkon will be headed by Alexei Borisov from Severstal. Karelsky Okatysh acting director has not been appointed yet.
