The terrorist organization Donetsk People’s Republic, created and supported by Russia, is engaged in preparing Metinvest and Donetskstal companies for operation. Control over the companies on the territory of the Antiterrorist operation was lost on March 15.
According to a source, the management of the companies has been given to Sergey Kurchenko, an ally of the ex-president Yanukovich, both hiding in Russia.
Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works has been partially put into operation, Makeevka Works also resumes operation.
Silur has already received 1 thousand tons of wire rods, and will receive 4 thousand tons more. The works produces ropes used by metal companies and local mines.
Khartsyzsk Pipe Works is still idle due to the absence of orders.
It should be noted that the external management has been introduced at Donetskstal and Metinvest companies. Terrorists do not operate at ISD enterprises – Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works and Alchevskkoks. (Ukrainian metal)
