Within the strategic cooperation with Transneft, Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Works has modernized its machinery of large diameter pipe quality control. The investments totaled 244 million rubles.
“Transneft is one of the key customers of ChTPZ. Taking into account their demands we have decided to modernize the machinery. The project has been carried out without stopping the manufacturing process, which has allowed us to fulfill all orders in time”, the group technical director Kirill Nikitin commented.
In 2 months the modernized shop produced 26 thousand tons of LDP, including 2 thousand tons for Transneft. (Ukrainian metal)
