Rails produced by Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works has demonstrated high strength during the tests at the Russian scientific and research institute of railroad transport. ChMK products have withstood the loading of 750 million ton-km.
The rails have been tested since 2014.
ChMK started producing new rails in 2013 having put a rail-beam mill into operation. The works produces 100-m rails. (Ukrainian metal)
