In January-March Kazakhstan exported $10.8 billion worth of products, up by 30% YoY.

Exports to EAEU countries increased by 39.2%, to $1.2 billion, with $1 billion on behalf of Russia (up by 36% YoY).

Exports to Kyrgyzstan increased by 44%, to $97.5 million, to Armenia – 15-fold, to $165 thousand, to Belarus – 7-fold, to $23.3 million.

The growth is explained by the increase of minerals and metals exports by 73% and by 140% respectively. Rolled metal was the main exported product to EAEU – $256.2 million, up 3.5-fold. Among mineral products zinc ores exports increased 3-fold.

Ferroalloys exports went up by 86%, ferrous scrap – 9-fold, and iron rods – 4.5-fold. At the same time ferrous metal wares exports dropped by 17%. (Ukrainian metal)
