Mariupol metallurgists are prepared to increase output, but the current railroad tariffs and logistics problems hamper manufacture.

In particular, Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works converter shop produces over 3.5 million tons of steel per year. Next year the company will construct a new continuous cast machine.

But high railroad transportation tariffs don’t allow Mariupol Ilyich to increase smelting. Moreover the Kamysh-Zarya – Volnovakha throughput is insufficient. (Ukrainian metal)
