In January-April Russian seaports throughput of ferrous metals dropped by 0.4% YoY, to 9.68 million tons, with exports at 9.46 million tons, down by 2.1%, and imports at 220.53 thousand tons, up 3.7-fold.

Railroad exports to port Novorossiysk totaled 3.58 million tons, down by 8.3% YoY, St. Petersburg – 2.1 million tons, up by 24.7%, Nakhodka – 1.25 million tons, up by 4.1%, Tuapse – 0.76 million tons, up by 3.9%.

Railroad imports from Ust-Luga reached 76.12 thousand tons, St. Petersburg – 69.13 thousand tons, Vladivostok – 33.52 thousand tons.

In April Russian ports received 2.39 million tons of ferrous metals via railroad for exports, up by 12.7%, and 60.92 thousand tons of imports, up 3.4-fold. (Ukrainian metal)
