Miners from 5 Krivoy Rog Iron Ore Industrial Complex mines refused to return from underground after the night shift.
“All the night shift of the Rodina, Gvardeyskaya, Ternovskaya, Krivbassshakhtoupravleniye and 10 miners of the Octyabrskaya mine remained underground. They demand increase of wages”, the chairman of the Confederation of Free Unions of Ukraine Mikhail Volynets reported.
According to him, the miners of the first shift also went underground.
The miners demand the increase of salary to the 2011 level, that is to $1 thousand, whereas now the salary is about 10 thousand UAH (less than $400). (Ukrainian metal)
