This year Khabarovsk region intends to produce 19.55 tons of gold and 1.55 tons of platinum.
According to the local ministry of natural resources, last year gold output was 19.5 tons.
The increase in gold output is expected thanks to the new deposits put into operation. Investments in the industry in 2015-2016 exceeded 16 billion rubles.
The ministry is also satisfied with the successful resumption of tin mining, which last year yielded 800 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
