In January-March miners of Kuzbass yielded 57 million tons of coal, up by 6% YoY.
According to the Kemerovo region coal industry department, the share of power-generating coal reached 41.2 million tons, up by 6.2% YoY, of coking coal – 15.8 million tons, up by 5.3%.
In March miners yielded 19.8 million tons of coal, up by 7.6% YoY, with power-generating coal at 14.4 million tons, up by 10.8%.
Since the beginning of the year 40.6 million tons of coal were processed, up by 5.7% (11.3 million tons in March, up by 4.6%).
Processing enterprises received 19.3 million tons of coal concentrate, including 15.6 million tons of coking coal (6.8 million and 3.9 million tons in March respectively).
The region shipped 51.7 million tons of coal, up by 3.3% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
