The Moscow regional center of Severstal Distribution has won the tender to supply 1.1 thousand tons of A500S rebars with 8-36 mm diameter for the new gold mine at the Gross deposits, belonging to Nordgold.

The company will have supplied the whole batch by the end of April.

This is the second tender to supply rebars for the Gross deposits, which the Moscow center has won. In 2016 it supplied 1 thousand tons of metal there.

When the Gross reaches its full capacity it will mine 12 million tons of ore and produce 230 thousand ounces of gold per year for 17 years.

Nordgold started constructing the mine in June 2016, and it will be put into operation in H1 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
