Severstal will buy transformers, produced by Siloviye mashiny – Toshiba LLC, for its Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works.
Under the investment project Toshiba will produce and supply power transformers to replace outdated machinery. The company will produce 2T transformers (63 MW). The cost of the first stage, when one transformer will be replaced, is 50 million rubles. The project is scheduled to be finished in Q3 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
