In February the Vostochnaya processing factory of ArcelorMittal Temirtau started the pilot project on concentrate output increase.
With 210 thousand tons according to the business-plan, the shortest month in the year saw 225.1 thousand tons of concentrate produced.
In January the plan was overfulfilled by 7 thousand tons, in February – by 15 thousand tons, in March it is planned to outperform the plan by 10 thousand tons.
In 2016 Vostochnaya factory produced 2.564 million tons of concentrate. In 2017 the target is 4.722 million tons.
Since 2010 the factory has been producing 2.5-2.6 million tons of coal concentrate per year. (Ukrainian metal)
