Within the reconstruction of the power system at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium and Magnesium Works, the SVEL Group, one of the major Russian manufacturers of electrotechnical equipment, has replaced the outdated machinery with its newest reactors.

The RTST-10-1600-0.4 UZ reactors have been shipped to the customer and will be put into operation in March. According to the project, the reactors are produced of copper.

The two companies have been cooperating since 2011. Since then SVEL has supplied 6 units of copper reactors and several oil transformers to the works. (Ukrainian metal)
