In January metal companies from CIS-countries produced 8.935 million tons of steel, up by 11.4% YoY.
Ukraine increased steel output by 8.5%, to 2.103 million tons, and occupies the 10th position in the world steel manufacturers list.
Russia is on the 5th position with 6.183 million tons of steel, up by 11.6%.
All the other volumes were on behalf of Kazakhstan and Belarus. (Ukrainian metal)
