The Federal Antimonopoly Service has again postponed the hearing of the rebars price increase case.

This time the hearing has been postponed till April 3.

On July 21, 2016 FAS started the case on antimonopoly legislation violation on rebar market against Evraz, Severstal and Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works, a part of Mechel. The price analysis showed that the cost of rebars in January-April 2016 increased by 34% at Evraz ZSMK, by 103% at Severstal, while ChMK rebar prices from December 2015 till May 2016 showed the increase of 70%.

On February 2, the deputy chairman of the service Andrei Tsarikovsky said that FAS planned to make a decision on the case after February 13. (Ukrainian metal)
