Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works, a part of Mechel, has confirmed the correspondence of the quality of its steel galvanized ropes with the river vessel construction requirements. The corresponding certificate has been issued by the Russian River Registry.
The certificate allows the company to supply steel ropes to Russian ship-builders.
Steel ropes of 18 GOSTs have been checked at BMK. Due to the zinc-coating they are corrosion-resistant in aggressive environment.
