Olenegorsk Mining and Processing Works, a part of Severstal, intends to spend 60 million rubles in 2017 on environment measures, up almost 2-fold YoY.
“Our priority is to decrease the impact on air and water. Most of the money will be spent on those projects”, the acting CEO Alexei Scherbakov said.
