In early January the demand for the pipe products of the Belarus Iron and Steel Works increased by 2 thousand tons as compared with the average monthly level in 2016.
According to the company statement, in January BMZ intends to produce 11 thousand tons of pipes and sell some 10.5 thousand tons. Some 70% will be sold to Russia. To far foreign countries BMZ will supply around 4.2 thousand tons of pipes, with some 1 thousand tons to Italy and 400 tons to USA.
The local market of Belarus will receive only 400 tons of BMZ pipes. (Ukrainian metal)
