As of January 12, Ukrainian mining and metal companies are holding 38 cargo trains (2092 cars).

“The cars are being held because the companies are unable to unload or load them”, Ukrzaliznytsia press-service reported.

“In the first 10 days of January Ukrzaliznytsia supplied 47.8 thousand railroad cars for iron ore raw materials, while the companies loaded only 25 thousand”, Ukrzaliznytsia said.

Last year the company put 962 new open cars into operation. (Ukrainian metal)
