Kremenchuk Steel Works has resumed operation after a ling halt. The furnace was put into operation on December 5.

On November 7, the hardening shop resumed operation. As of today the works employs some 800 workers, while it needs 1080 people. They work in one shift. The works is planned to operate for at least 3 months, and will continue working provided there are orders.

“We have won several tenders and will get the order portfolio by the year-end”, the company director Victor Samusenko said. (Ukrainian metal)
