Zaporizhstal lacks iron ore from the Zaporozhye Iron Ore Complex due to the shortage of railroad cars.
“This month we are some 30 thousand tons of ore behind. This means we will not receive 50-60 thousand tons of concentrate”, the company CEO Rostislav Shurma said.
The works has been experiencing the lack of cars for 2-3 weeks.
“There are not enough railroad cars in Ukraine now, neither state-owned, nor private. So either the state should buy cars, which is a wrong way, or create investment conditions, so that private companies buy them”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
