Modernization at Nizhni Tagil Iron and Steel Works goes on. In particular, the company replaces machinery in the round billet shop.
After the overhaul its capacity will increase 2-fold, the quality will improve and the range of products will be expanded.
The technical characteristics of the new line by far exceed the existing ones and allow the production of large diameter round billets: 160, 180 and 220-250 mm. The project is expected to be completed in Q1 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
