In Q3 Evraz Sukhaya Balka decreased iron ore mining following the halt of its capacities.
According to the company statement, in July-September lumpy ore mining dropped by 18.4% QoQ, to 639 thousand tons. In January-September the output decreased by 8% YoY, to 1.946 million tons.
The company expects output volumes to increase in Q4.
The ore price dropped to $22 per ton EXW from $23 in 2015. (Ukrainian metal)
