On October 10, the mine named after Skochinsky, situated near the military zone, put into operation a new long face with 493 thousand tons of coal deposits.
“The length of the face is 238 meters, the thickness of the layer is 1.5 meters, and the deposits are estimated at 493 thousand tons. We plan to mine 520 tons of coal per day for some 40 months”, Andrei Koval, the mine director, said.
This is the seventh long face to be put into operation at the mine since the year started. (Ukrainian metal)
