Ukraine produces some 200 thousand tons of castings per year. In 2015 it exported around 102 thousand tons.
Russia (40796 tons, or 40.05%), Germany (8670, 8.51%), Poland (7266 tons, 7.13%), Kazakhstan (6103, 5.99%) and Czech Republic (2602 tons, or 2.55%) are the main consumers of Ukrainian castings.
These countries take up 64% of Ukrainian exports. At the same time sales of Ukrainian castings are mostly CIS-oriented (56%) and are low in other countries (44%). (Ukrainian metal)
