In January-August Donetsk region (without the antiterrorist operation zone) increased industrial output by 6.9% YoY. August output went up by 0.9% MoM and by 15.4% YoY.
Metal industry output increased by 7.6% YoY, that of mining – by 11.3%, of coke – by 26.5%.
Coalmining increased by 13.2% YoY, to 9.5 million tons, with coke output on the level of 4.2 million tons, up by 25.9% YoY.
Pig iron production totaled 6.5 million tons, up by 14% YoY, that of steel – 5.9 million tons, up by 9.2%.
Continuous cast machines yielded 92% of the steel produced in January-August, or 5.4 million tons.
Rolled metal output went up by 13% YoY, to 3.2 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
