Asha Iron and Steel Works has completed the repairs at its electric furnace shop No. 2 with the replacement of the electric arc furnace hearth. The hearth has served for over 700 smeltings. To replace the hearth lining 100 tons of refractory bricks will be needed.
Next time the EAF will be stopped for the planned repairs in October. The overhaul will last for 6 days. (Ukrainian metal)
