Karelsky Okatysh (a part of Severstal) has started producing new wares – metallized pellets (DR-pellets). This new product will allow the works to get to new markets.
DR-pellets have less impurities and higher physical characteristics: increased abrasive resistance and reactivity index.
“We see pellets overproduction on the Russian market in the next 2 years. So we intend to increase sales to Europe”, said the company technical control shop director A. Kuznetsov.
In June Karelsky Okatysh shipped the first batch of DR-pellets (65 thousand tons) to the buyer. (Ukrainian metal)
