The weeklong halt at Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant has resulted in the 9% output decrease.

According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, August target output was decreased from 64 thousand tons to 58.1 thousand tons, with the works producing 58.14 thousand tons.

The company furnaces stood idle from August 9 till August 16 due to the problems with coke and coal supplies. When the situation stabilized, the furnaces started working at full capacity. In January-August NZF produced 480.34 thousand tons of ferroalloys.

In August the works produced 202 tons of fluxes, 1.98 thousand tons of electrode mass, 121.14 thousand tons of sinter and 1.76 thousand tons of secondary manganese raw materials. NZF shipped 56.76 thousand tons of ferroalloys. In September the works is expected to produce 64 thousand tons of ferroalloys. (Ukrainian metal)
