The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has prolonged the antidumping duties on the imports of carbon steel and alloyed hot-rolled sheet originating from Brazil, China and Ukraine for 5 years.

CITT has decided that such imports harm Canadian manufacturers of these products.

At the same time, the tribunal has canceled the corresponding duties in respect of Taiwan and India. It believes they are not threatening Canadian manufacturers.

Canada imposed antidumping duties on flat rolled metal in 2001. Ukraine received the 77% duty. (Ukrainian metal)
