The Cabinet of Ministers allowed the privatization of the Buzhanskaya mine, a part of Volynugol. The corresponding decision has been stated in the decree of July 22.
For the past three years the mine has been profitless. Its accounts receivable for 2015 total 82.42 million UAH, in particular, 56.36 million UAH to the state budget and 4.28 million UAH of salary debts. Last year the state budget gave 34.35 million UAH to the mine to partially cover the expenses on coal prices.
In 2015 the mine yielded 123.1 thousand tons of coal, with 74.2 in January-June 2016. (Ukrainian metal)
