Norilsk Nickel Polar Division has received a team of foreign investors on a business visit composed of BMO, HSBC Securities (South Africa), Pioneer AM, Fosun AM, BAML, Goldman Sachs, VTB, Deutsche Bank, Alfa-Bank. The foreign guests enjoyed an opportunity to look at the sheer scale of the company’s footprint with their own eyes and learn about the operations of major production facilities of the Polar Division: Taimyrsky Mine, Skalisty Mine, Talnakh Concentrator Plant, Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant, which host the biggest investment projects of the company.

Egizio Bianchhini, vice-chair at BMO, Canada, while in Norilsk noted, that the company harbored a unique potential for growth and made one of the best investment cases in the industry.

“Norilsk is still the world’s best deposit with unbeatable mineral reserves. The quality of the asset is the best among deposits of non-ferrous and precious metals. The company’s development potential stretches for at least a century forward”, said Bianchini.

In a recent pan-European survey of investment funds and analysts, evaluating the quality of IR at major public companies Norilsk Nickel garnered a high estimation in the Extel rating, which judges achievements of IR divisions based on participations in international investor conferences, road-shows and the quality of disclosure of information to investors.
