Metinvest expects that the general manager of Ukrzaliznytsia Wojciech Balczun will work on the improvement of the company effectiveness.
“We hope that all the tariff payments that Ukrzaliznytsia receives from metal companies, will be spent on fuel, spare parts and new locomotives, so that the company increases its effectiveness. The tariffs have been increased several times, but we see no effect. The problems remain”, said the Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works CEO Yuri Zinchenko.
According to him, because Ukrzaliznytsia failed to supply coke from Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works Mariupol Ilyich and Azovstal had to decrease output. (Ukrainian metal)
