In August Ukraine mined 3171 thousand tons of coal, down by 30.5% from the planned results.
The Ministry for energy and coal industry mines produced 459 thousand tons, or 64.8% of the plan (down by 248.7 thousand tons from the planned results).
In January-August the companies mined 26010 thousand tons of coal, fulfilling the plan by 76.2%, down by 8.1 million tons from the target results.
The state mines produced 4486.2 thousand tons of coal, down by 1.3 million tons form the target. The plan was fulfilled by 77%. (Ukrainian metal)
