In January-April Ukrainian companies produced 324.9 thousand tons of ferroalloys, down by 1.7% YoY.
According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, silicomanganese output went up by 10.8%, to 263.7 thousand tons, while that of ferromanganese decreased by 10.8%, to 28.8 thousand tons, and ferrosilicon (45%) production fell by 52.3%, to 28.7 thousand tons.
Ukraine also produced 3.7 thousand tons of metallic manganese, which was not manufactured in January-April 2014.
