In January-March Ukrainian metal companies decreased their ferrous metals export revenue by 36.3%, to $2214.45 million, YoY.
Ferrous metals accounted for 23.41% of the total export revenues, down from 24.5% YoY. In March ferrous metals exports brought Ukraine $825.06 million with $642.55 in February.
At the same time Ukraine imported 56.4% ferrous metals in Q1 worth $140.48 million, including $42.47 million in March.
Metal wares exports from Ukraine in January-March went down by 36.5%, to $250.09 million, with March witnessing exports on the level of $83.55 million. Metal wares imports fell by 48.4%, to $114.42 million, YoY, with March at $44.89 million. (Ukrainian metal)
