In January-February Ukrainian companies produced 161.2 thousand tons of ferroalloys, down by 6.4% YoY.

According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, silicomanganese output increased by 5.5%, to 132.7 thousand tons, while that of ferromanganese decreased by 30.1%, to 12.1 thousand tons, and of ferrosilicon (45%) fell by 50.9%, to 14.3 thousand tons.

The companies also produced 2.1 thousand tons of metallic manganese, which was not manufactured in January-February 2014.
